"The pork I loved lol because I love braaier pork the beef is okay we didn't get enough salt because then it's just bland. Not a fan of the side dishes big no no no for me I don't know what it is but something about it to me is off. The Korean chicken is undoubtedly crunchy but I think the pepper needs to put under a broiler to get that grainy taste out I don't find it pleasant. Even in the rice cake skewers The place is fun ngl Everyone should go to experience your KDRAMA fantasy ."

"An absolutely awesome experience. Our first Korean Barbeque was flawless. Our waiter was terrific, the milkis shot and the other drink (I can't remember the name) were great. The ingredients for the barbecue were fresh and tasty (sides were unlimited), restaurant was clean and aesthetically pleasing. We'll definitely return. This restaurant is needed in KZN!!!"

"Amazing experience – highly recommended! Today was our very first day visiting Gogi BBQ Halal Korean Restaurant as a group of twelve people, and we were honestly so happy and excited to be there. We were already very grateful to find a Korean halal restaurant in Cape Town, which alone made this place special for us. On top of that, we were positively surprised by the Hot Pot option and the many different alternatives available. It’s not easy to find Korean restaurants that are halal, alcohol-free, and without pork, so this meant a lot to us. The menu had a great variety, and we really enjoyed the wide selection — we honestly wished we had time to try even more dishes! The service was absolutely wonderful. All staff members were incredibly kind and welcoming, and we would especially like to highlight three people: • One staff member (Rochelle) kindly allowed us to pray inside the Korean supermarket, even though it was already closed. They showed us complete trust, let us in, and gave us the space to pray — something we truly appreciated and will never forget. • Another staff member (İman) was extremely attentive and accommodating, always making sure our needs were met and helping us feel comfortable as a large group. • The third staff member (Liam) who took our order was so patient and friendly. Despite the noise and the size of our group, she took our order perfectly and delivered everything 100% correctly. The food was absolutely delicious — truly amazing. Everything we tried tasted great, and the quality was excellent. We are very sure that whenever we return to Cape Town, we will come back to this restaurant.
